Tire Amendment and Explanation of how purses will be paid out

Tire Amendment: Due to the fact that we have been advised that there is a possibility of a shortage of tires later in the season, American Racer advised to adopt the tire rule using only P265/60-15SH starting with the first race of the season on April 3, 2005. We are anticipating these tires to arrive the first week of March 2005. The American Limited Stock Car tires will be available at David's Racing, you can contact them at (209)522-6370. Any person who might have obtained the G60/15 from anyone, may use those tires for the practice on Mar. 19th , Mar. 26th , and April 2nd, or sell them off to a GAM car.

If you have any questions you may contact either Bob Martin at McCoy Racing Products in Modesto - (209)521-5656, or John Weimer at (209)462-7207

Explanation of Purse Pay out for 2005

Purse will be paid to any field every day or night of racing in 2005, In the "American Limited Stock Car Division"(formerly pure stock) providing that field exceeds the average car count field of 2004 of 26 cars. Here is how it works:

For any field of 27 cars and up to and through 30 cars - each car will count for $50.00.

For example: If the field totals 30 cars, the purse will be $1500.00 with $150.00 to win

and paying down to $35.00 to last in the main. There will be two transfers from the semi

to the main so third in the semi will get $50.00 with last paying $25.00.

Fields over 30 cars will receive $75.00 counted for each car with $200.00 to win the main and

$40.00 to last place. In the event that there are 40 cars, the field will receive $75.00 a car and the main will pay $300.00 to win.

With 41 cars the purse counts at $100.00 a car to the purse, so with (for example) 41 cars, the

purse will total $4,100.00 and the main will pay $400.00 to win & so on down as posted.

In the event this division which will be in part sponsored by C.L. Bryant has a night that 50 cars are present and race able, the purse to win will be $750.00 with a total of $5,000.00!!! THAT'S

RIGHT, SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS TO WIN, $500.00 TO SECOND, AND

$400.00 TO THIRD, etc..

.SHOW US THE CARS & IT PAYS!!!
