Guy Guibor led most of the Hoosier 75 fending off challenges by several competitors. The first challenge came from the 21 car of Mark Holman, after holding off Holman, Guibor had a rear view mirror full of Slamming Sammy Solari. Solari and Guibor ran nose to tail and door to door for about 30 laps.

This was shaping up to be one of the best races of the young season and then it happened, the "it" was the 6 car of Solari and the 61 of Guibor made contact coming out of turn two racing for the lead, Guibor's car went into the wall hard and Solari's car was sent spinning into turn three with a flat tire.

Last week's winner Joey Stearns took the lead and appeared to be on his way to a repeat, but Ross Strmiska and Harry Belleto had another idea as they worked their way to the back bumper of the 8 car of Joey Stearns. Harry Belleto charged into the first position with just a hand full of laps remaining and appeared to be in the drivers seat for the win, then a caution came out for an accident and the landscape changed again.

When the green flag flew Solari had bobbed and weaved his was to the third spot, then he moved to the second position and was on the bumper of the 74 car of Harry Belleto. Every fan north of 40 years old was pulling for Belleto to hold off the hard charging Slamming Sammy Solari, but Solari slipped by with just a few laps to go and drove to the checkered flag for the victory.

Solari received $1,500 for the win, Harry Belleto earned $1,000 for his second place finish, Joey Stearns followed in third, Matt Erickson finished fourth, and Ross Strmiska rounded out the top five.
