S R L Late Model Touring Series Announces Tire for 2007

Wilton, CA – After two extensive tire test sessions, the SRL Late Model Touring Series announced today that the American Racer will be the brand of tire used in 2007.

            On January 18^th, Beebe Racing participated in a tire test at Shasta Speedway, and then a second test at Madera Speedway on February 16^th.

            The American Racer tires excelled in all phases of the test sessions, including fastest qualifying runs, and most consistent twenty lap runs, and eighty lap runs.

            “We really want to thank everyone who participated in the tests, we came up with some impressive results,” commented S R L Director, Steve Fensler.

            “We feel really good about our tire choice for this season and look forward to some great racing with the American Racer tire.” Steve added.

            The testing was conducted primarily due to the promoters and competitors requesting a tire that would allow them to attain more side by side racing and put some tire management in the driver’s hands during a 100 lap event.

(209) 521-5656.  Boyd Enterprises will continue to service the competitors at each race as they have in the past six years.
