USAC, NCMA Sprint Cars

and The Legends of the Pacific Return to Stockton

After an almost three-year hiatus, this Saturday, May 2, The New Stockton 99 Speedway will play host to an open-wheel extravaganza. Making their first appearance of the year on the tight, quarter-mile paved oval will be the USAC Western Sprint Cars, USAC Midgets, USAC Ford Focus Midgets and NCMA Sprint Cars. Also joining in on the night will be Stockton 99's own Grand American Modified Division in a 99 Lap feature event. The always popular Legends of the Pacific will round out the card for the evening.

Brian McClish of Santa Rosa and JoJo Helberg of Rohnert Park sit atop the point standings in the USAC Western Sprint Car series in a virtual dead-heat. They are followed closely by Tanner Swanson of Kingsburg, coming off his most recent win in Roseville on April 18, and brother Kody, who won the 100-lap Midget race last Saturday, April 25, in Madera.

In the NCMA Sprints, David Goodwill will be looking for his second straight asphalt win of the season after coming home with the top honors at Madera on April 4. This promises to be a fantastic night of open-wheel racing.

Pit Gates will open at 10:30 AM for early arrivals. Registration will begin at noon with practice commencing at 1:00 PM. The Grandstands open at 3:00 PM with qualifying set for 4:30 PM and green flag racing at 6:00 PM. Ticket prices for the evening will be as follows:
