SRL Wild West Shootout Adds Shasta Speedway to 2004 Schedule
Wilton, Calif. (Jan 19th)-- The SRL in conjunction with Shasta Speedway is proud to announce that Davey Hamilton’s SRL Wild West Late Model Shootout will make one trip to the 1/3 mile track in Anderson, California. The race will take place on Saturday September 11th, 2004. The 2004 current schedule consists of 11 races on 5 California race tracks.
The 2004 Season will open up at Altamont Motorsports Park on Saturday, March 20th, 2004. The following Sunday the Shootout will head to Stockton99 Speedway’s quarter mile track. On April 17th Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield, California will host there first ever SRL Wild West Late Model race.
The Shootout heads back to Altamont ˝ mile on May 1rst. Mesa Marin hosts there second of three events on June 5th. Madera Speedway plays host to the Shootout on June 19th. Saturday, July 3rd the Shootout returns to Stockton99 Speedway for their second and final event of the 2004 season.
Altamont will host there third race on Saturday, July 24th, with the ninth race of the season taking place at Mesa Marin Raceway on August 7th. Shasta Speedway in Anderson, California will host one race in the 2004 season. That race is scheduled for Saturday, September 11th. The final event of the 2004 season will take place at Altamont Motorsports Park in Tracy, California on Saturday October 9th.
