Ted
Clement is a 54 year old Electrical Supervisor for Sardee Industries
in Stockton, and a former 99 Speedway Late Model Sportsman competitor.
(1973-1986). This is his first year of competition in the Legends division.
Wife, Connie, is the car owner and a former driver in the Chargers division in
1987. (She co-holds the record for most consecutive trophy dash wins at 4 in
that division.)
Keith Clement is Ted's 27 year
old son and co-driver of the #48 car. Keith is a mechanic and smog technician
for Geweke Chrysler in Lodi, CA. The 2005 season is Keith's first in any type
of circle track racing, he does however have experience as a drag racer. His
driver appearances will be limited this season so that he may pursue a "Rookie
of the Year" trophy in 2006. (Cousin Fred Clement was the "Rookie of the
Year" for the Legends of the Pacific in 2004.)
