STOCKTON 99 STADIUM, TEN DAYS BEFORE OPENING DAY IN 1947. SHOWN IN IT'S
1/5TH. MILE DIRT CONFIGURATION, YOU CAN SEE THE SECOND TURN ENTRANCE AND THIRD TURN EXIT,
WITH AN ACCESS ROAD RUNNING BEHIND THE BACK BLEACHERS TO GO FR0M EITHER END OF THE TRACK.
THE TURNS ARE ALMOST FLAT, AND AS THE PICTURE SHOWS, THE TRACK WAS REALLY 'IN THE COUNTRY'
IN THESE DAYS. HIGHWAY 99 (NOT YET CALLED WILSON WAY) RUNS ALONG SIDE THE STADIUM.
