AS WE MOVE INTO THE 1965 SEASON WE SEE THE 'CROWN PRINCE OF FUN',
'ROLLIN' NOLAN COOK, IN AN OUTDATED 1938 PLYMOUTH WITH A SIX-CYLINDER FLATHEAD MOTOR. EVEN
THOUGH HE WAS OUTCLASSED BY THE FASTER FORD'S AND CHEVY'S, NOLAN WON HIS FAIR SHARE BY
RUNNING WIDE-OPEN ON THE BOTTOM.
IN 1966, NOLAN WENT 'HIGH TECH' WITH THE '55
CHEVY. THE CAR IS STOCK IN LENGTH, BUT HAS BEEN NARROWED TO EXPOSE LOTS OF TIRE. NOTE THE
EXHAUST HEADERS.
