from Redwood City, Pete and his Wife Sue contested
in all nine of the Legend division races held at Stockton in 2002. Running with
the Legends since their Northern California conception in 1995, Pete ran 3rd in
points in 99 action in 1999, the first year points were awarded. He followed
with a 6th place finish in 2000 and a Master Level and overall title in 2002.
His Stockton career records stand at 1 fast time, 4 heat wins, and 10 main top five finishes, and he holds the 3rd fastest time on record at Stockton with a snappy 15.733 set on April 13th of 2002

This
Kings Beach based Legend pilot ran in 8 of the 9 events
at Stockton and finished 6th in overall points while notching the Pro Level
championship. He was the dominate driver in each event he entered coming many
times from the rear to the front in a few short laps to win 7 of his 8 feature
runs.
Being
swept up in an early feature crash one night may have been the only deterrent to
a clean sweep of feature events in his impressive season consisting of 5 fast
times, 6 heat wins, and 4 dash wins.
Racing in the division for three years, Michael holds the second fastest lap on record with a quick 15.667 set on April 6th of 2002.

With
only a couple of nights action in 2001, this Livermore
based driver competed in all 9 of the Stockton events in 2002 to notch the
Semi-Pro level title and finish 3rd in overall points for the highly competitive
cycle powered division.
She was a welcome addition to the division where she raced hard but smart, causing no problems to her fellow drivers in her learning year and always being able to "drive" the car onto the trailer at night’s end.
Debbie will be back in action in 2003 looking for that first career feature win and yet another season title.
