Jon Eric Bussey

Jon Eric Bussey, 58, of Stockton passed away unexpectedly while on his annual fishing trip in Panama. Jon was born on January 20, 1956 in Stockton, CA to Lee and Stella Bussey.
Jon leaves his mother Stella Bussey, his daughters Diana Lutz, Annie Bussey and Daniell Michael, his brother Michael Bussey and his 5 grandchildren, Zackary Vig, Jonny Pierce,
Russell Lutz, Layla Michael and Joseph Michael Jr. Jon is predeceased by his father Lee Bussey and Brother David Bussey.
Jon was honored to serve his country with the Coast Guard. Jon became a certified Master Technician by Ford Motor
Company.
Jon loved hockey and was a season ticket holder with the Thunder Hockey. Jon also had a passion for NASCAR and was chief steward for Stockton 99 Speedway. Jon was actively involved with the disabled Veterans of America and NA. Jon was a community volunteer and was a mentor. He worked with young people with substance abuse issues and helped them to further their education.
The delay with the obituary was due to complications with returning his remains from Panama.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 28th at the Alano Club, 1812 Monte Diablo Ave., Stockton, CA 95203 from 2-5 pm. Memorial Contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250
