Michael Eugene CarrMay 24, 1947 - February 4, 2015
 
 
Michael Eugene Carr was born May 24, 1947 in Kansas City, MO and entered into rest on February 4, 2015 in 
Modesto, CA. 
Mike was a generous husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle and friend. He always put others needs ahead 
of his own. 
He was active in the racing community where he won Mechanic of the Year twice and always there to help a fellow racer out. 
He retired in January 2009 from Kaiser Manteca as an Assistant Operating Chief Engineer. He enjoyed going to the flea 
markets, Reno, car shows, and was a World Indoor Archery Champion with Lodi Bowmen.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly Carr, his son Tim (Michelle) Carr of Stockton, his daughter Cynde (James) 
Rhyne of Stockton, his grandsons Lukas Castro and Gunner Bradley, his in-laws, Bryan and Linda McLaughlin, his mother 
Lola Carr and sister Terri Gurley, and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life 
will be on Sunday, February 15th, 12 pm- 3 pm at Ambler's Club in Stockton. A special thank you to Rachel Crosby and 
Respiratory Team and Mike and Ed, ICU nurses at Kaiser Modesto.
