is excited to announce
the HotWood Late Model
300 that will feature
two visits at the fast
3/8's mile paved oval
for the SRL Wild West
Late Model Touring
Series and SRP's NASCAR
Whelen All-American
Series Late Models.
Round one for
the HotWood Late Model
300 which will also be
the opening race for the
SRL Wild West Late Model
Shootout Series will
take place on
May 5th,
2007, round two will be
run on July 28th,
2007.
By partnering with
HotWood it gives Shasta
Raceway Park the
opportunity to bring a
quality race program to
the finest facility in
the north state. In the
past the SRL has
traditionally only made
one stop at Shasta, with
the support of Les Scott
at HotWood who is one of
the biggest supporters
of Late Model racing in
northern California, it
gives us the ability to
offer another great show
for the fans at Shasta
Raceway Park.
Both round one and round
two will feature 100 lap
events that will bring
you 100 laps of GREEN
flag racing for the SRL
Wild West Late Models
along with a 50 lap
NASCAR Late Model race.
