"JD" Jennings D. Gentry
July 28, 1929 - December 6, 2009
"JD" passed away at the age of 80 in Lodi, CA. He is preceded in death by his first wife Georgia
Gentry and son Michael Gentry. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Connie Gentry, his children Jim Gentry (Connie), Joe Gentry (Michelle), Mark Atkinson (Patti), Michael Atkinson (Paula); 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends.
He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on indefinitely in the many lives he has touched. He treasured the many special friendships he had developed over the years. JD owned a wheel shop for years and he also drove truck and is a retired member of the Teamsters Union. He was well known for his racing cars at "99" Speedway during the 50's, fast boats and his "Ham" radio buddies. He lived the good life and leaves us all with memories to treasure forever.
There will be
a memorial on January 9, 2010 at 1 p.m.. Eagles Hall, 1492 Bourbon St.,
Stockton, CA.
